And the FEW Spirits love-fest continues! Now our branding and label designs are featured on the World’s #1 Package Design Website… The Dieline!

FEW Spirits is a craft distillery, located in Evanston, Illinois just north of Chicago, which offers premium small-batch spirits made entirely on-premises from grain to bottle. In order to bring their product to market, FEW relied on our expertise and vision to design a brand & label that was worthy of their handcrafted liquors.
Featuring commissioned illustrations by artist, Donovan Foote, our brand concept harkened back to an era that displayed the gumption and can-do attitude that not only placed Chicago on the world’s stage in 1893, but also the tenacity that made FEW Spirits the first legal distillery in Evanston. Applied by hand, every individually numbered and signed bottle is a one-of-a-kind artifact designed to be treasured long after its contents are gone.
Currently available in four varieties, FEW Spirits will be expanding their line with more of our beautifully designed labels soon. Enjoy.

After launching Chicago Area Pediatricians’ new website (featuring the branding we developed for them) we designed some collateral pieces to match their new look.
The word cute doesn’t begin to describe their updated image… this brand is downright adorable!
Utilizing a square-flapped No.10 envelope from French Paper Co., we complimented the playful attitude we designed on their letterhead with a touch of professional elegance. Plus, you can’t go wrong using a color named Sour Apple.
For those instances that don’t require a formal letter, we designed a simple patient-reminder postcard that evoked brand consistency. They were designed to be instantly recognizable as correspondence from Chicago Area Pediatricians… and adorable. Enjoy the designs below and don’t forget to check out their website, www.chicagoareapeds.com

We’re all familiar with HomeMade Pizza Co.’s delicious line of freshly prepared, all-natural “we make it, you bake it” pizzas. But did you know that they can cater your event, too? Now with their new catering trailer and mobile ovens, hot & fresh HomeMade Pizza Co. pizza can now be expertly prepared and served at your next get-together.
We helped them with the launch of HomeMade Catering with an awareness campaign that included store signage and take-home fliers to introduce and inform customers of this new service.
Wilburn Thomas also helped get the word out to potential new customers by joining them at Evanston’s Ethnic Arts Festival with branded festival menu boards that they used throughout the festival season to introduce their new catering service. Now, HomeMade Pizza brings the heat by making it and baking it.

At Wilburn Thomas, we’re big proponents of meeting (and exceeding) the needs of our clients with a solution that doesn’t have to come from a list of preselected options. Gaining insight into the world of Parallel Architecture, we came to the conclusion that they needed a website that could constantly showcase fresh content as easily as a status update, and display their stunning designs to the public without forcing their audience to sign up for an account or click a silly “like” button. Using a Tumblr-based foundation, we delivered a site that focused on Parallel Architecture’s beautiful work.
Half the beauty of any architectural design comes from the ongoing process behind the final product. With an adapted social network platform, Parallel Architecture has the ability to post anything from initial sketches to 3D renderings – dynamically creating new website pages in real-time as inspiration arises. Unlike a typical static architecture site, with a Tumblr-based site, Parallel Architecture’s energy doesn’t have to be wasted by documenting and archiving elements of a project only to laboriously gather and format those elements to post a single update.
Shot some video of that gorgeous glass tile being delivered? Boom – upload it from your phone.
Happen to capture the elated look on the owner’s face as they see the finished design for the first time? Bam – site updated!
With our recommendation to use a customized Tumblr site, updating the content becomes an organic extension of thought instead of a formatting and coding nightmare. An aesthetically updated site makes for a more entertaining and richer experience for potential customers.
